Leadership That Turns Vision Into Value
Serge Yonke Nguewo, Founder and Principal of IT Thrust, brings more than 20 years of international leadership in airport digital transformation, infrastructure modernization, and operational readiness across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
A seasoned CIO, strategist, and board advisor, Serge has built and led airport IT organizations that deliver measurable value over $5 million in new revenue through telecom and data monetization, $3 million in cost savings through O&M optimization, and 5-Star terminal performance ratings through innovation and governance.
Before founding IT Thrust, Serge served as Chief Information Officer at JFK New Terminal One, where he established the IT function from inception to delivery of 130 mission-critical systems under a $20 million portfolio. At Munich Airport NJ LLC (EWR Terminal A), he served as Vice President of ICT, helping the terminal earn its Skytrax 5-Star rating through predictive maintenance, passenger experience technology, and cybersecurity alignment with TSA and NIST standards.
Earlier roles include Airports Council International (ACI World) in Montreal, where he authored global IT standards and co-led the Airports 4.0 framework, and Aéroports de Montréal, where he modernized passenger systems, reducing wait times by 15 percent and baggage delivery times by 20 percent.
Serge’s career bridges strategy and execution, creating governed, data-driven ecosystems that enhance passenger experience, strengthen cybersecurity, and drive EBITDA growth. His blend of technical mastery, executive insight, and business focus makes IT Thrust a trusted partner for airports seeking to turn technology into a strategic advantage.
